Advanced Multibeam Data QC

ABOUT THE COURSE

This three-day course provides participants with a practical understanding of quality control for multibeam survey data. Starting with key concepts and theory, the training covers survey standards, statistical parameters such as bias, error, and 95% confidence levels, as well as TPU/TVU/THU calculations. Participants learn to set up survey software, apply data QC tools during acquisition and processing, and evaluate survey grid statistics. Real-life data and case studies illustrate IHO S-44 standards and survey accuracy. By the end of the course, participants will be able to confidently assess and validate multibeam data to produce reliable final products.
