ABOUT THE COURSE

This foundational course introduces participants to the core principles of hydrography. Over five days, students learn about survey planning, project requirements, geodesy, tides, positioning systems, and various hydrographic measurement methods. The course covers bathymetric and imaging systems, seismic and geotechnical surveys, data acquisition, processing, and reporting. By the end of the training, participants will have a solid understanding of the hydrographic survey process and the essential knowledge required for advanced courses and practical survey work.
