The course also introduces essential geodetic concepts such as ellipsoids, geoids, and vertical datums, and explains how positioning data supports accurate hydrographic and land survey operations. Overview of global positioning systems (USA, Russia, Europe, China)
Understanding positioning accuracy: error sources and data quality
