ABOUT THE COURSE

This course provides a clear understanding of tidal science and its impact on hydrographic and bathymetric survey accuracy. Participants will explore tidal theory, the different types of tides, and how tidal height affects survey results. The course also covers tide measurement, prediction, and registration methods, as well as how to apply tidal corrections to ensure bathymetric data aligns with fixed reference levels, using both traditional and modern tools.
