Introduction to Marine Archaeology

 

This course provides an introduction to Marine Archaeology methods, and measurement principles which are currently used by UNESCO organizations. Relevant technical terminology is explained to offer candidates a working knowledge of survey activities. The course is instructor led.  In this course the participant will be introduced to underwater archaeology and locating the artifact.

Target group

The course provides a basic knowledge for individuals who frequently work in a team of people involved in hydrographic recording and processing software. The course is also intended for officials who work together with hydrographic surveyors.

No special preliminary training is required for participating in this course.
